Performance in several parts using field recordings, piano, and sung poetry from Walt Whitman; blurring the line between the outside world and the concert hall while transporting the listener to a space in-between.The event was put together by Leonie Rössler, a contemporary composer, sound artist, musician, and teacher who recently finished a one-year course at the Institute of Sonology, as well as completing her MA at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in 2013.

The beginning sound-collage of the evening’s performance is available to listen to online, as well as her field recording of the Haagse Markt and other projects. Roessler is planning more sound performances for the near future.
